Storm Damage Cleanup & Remediation

Western Australian weather doesn’t do things by halves. Winter cold fronts and severe thunderstorms regularly tear through the Perth metro, while cyclones and wet-season downpours hit hard across the Pilbara, Kimberley and Gascoyne. The aftermath is rarely just a bit of mess – it’s downed fences, peeled-back roofing, fallen trees, flooded ground, and structures that are no longer safe to stand under.

Dingo Services is a WA-owned demolition, asbestos and civil works contractor. That combination is exactly what storm cleanup demands: the equipment to clear and demolish, the licence to handle hazardous materials safely, and the civil expertise to repair the ground, drainage and access once the debris is gone. We help you move from “this is a disaster” to “this is sorted” – safely, compliantly, and without the runaround.

What We Handle After a Storm

Storm damage is messy and unpredictable, so our cleanup and remediation work covers the full picture:

Debris Clearing & Site Clean-Up

Removal of fallen building materials, sheet metal, broken masonry, glass, fencing and general storm debris - cleared, sorted and hauled away.

Emergency Make-Safe & Dangerous Structure Removal

Where a wall, roof, carport, shed or outbuilding has been compromised, we can stabilise, partially dismantle, or fully demolish it to remove the hazard. No job is too big or too small.

Damaged Roof & Fence Removal

Stripping and removing storm-damaged roofing - including older asbestos-cement roof sheeting - plus removal of collapsed or damaged fencing, including asbestos-cement "super six" fence panels.

Asbestos Identification & Licensed Removal

Inspection for damaged asbestos-containing materials, plus safe, licensed removal (WR2538) and disposal at approved facilities. Complete documentation and clearance certificates provided.

Tree & Vegetation Debris Clearing

Clearing of fallen trees, branches and vegetation debris from the site so the rest of the cleanup can proceed efficiently and safely.

Civil & Ground Remediation

Once the site is clear, our civil works team can carry out drainage clearing and repair, erosion and sediment control, regrading and compaction, and repairs to roads, footpaths, kerbs and driveways.

Storm Damage & Asbestos: What Every WA Property Owner Should Know

A huge number of WA homes, sheds, garages, carports and fences built before the late 1980s contain asbestos-cement materials. When a storm cracks a roof sheet, lifts fencing, or smashes an old shed, it can release asbestos fibres and scatter contaminated debris across your property. Disturbed, broken asbestos is a genuine health hazard – and clearing it up yourself (or letting an unlicensed crew do it) can make a bad situation far worse.

Dingo Services is a licensed asbestos removalist (WA licence WR2538), working to WorkSafe WA regulations. After a storm, we can inspect damaged materials and identify suspected asbestos, arrange testing through NATA-accredited laboratories where confirmation is needed, safely remove and contain asbestos debris using proper PPE, containment and HEPA-filtered equipment, dispose of it lawfully at licensed facilities, and provide the documentation and clearance you need afterwards.

If your storm-damaged property is older, treat any cracked roof sheeting or broken fibro as suspect until it’s checked. One call gets you a team that can handle both the cleanup and the hazardous material – without you having to coordinate two separate contractors.
